Breast cancer survivor, Meredith B. teaches Naam classes for wheelchair bound seniors

“Naam was instrumental in helping me successfully get through and put behind me a bout with breast cancer. The experience led me to take the Naam Therapies Training. During the training all students were asked to lead community classes as a part of the curriculum requirements to support Community Outreach which led me to the Thousand Oaks Senior Health Care Center. I have now been teaching there for nearly two years. All of the seniors at the facility are in wheelchairs and have many serious mental and physical disabilities. Watching these wonderful people smile more, become stronger and speak louder touches my heart every week I teach. It is a privilege to share this technology and see it help others as it has helped me.”

Naam helps Wendy find peace through struggles with cancer

“The weekend of my first daughter’s birthday, I was diagnosed with Parameningeal Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. By the next week, I had weaned my daughter and began a year of treatment, which consisted of 12 cycles of experimentally high-dose chemotherapy (Vincristine, Cyclophosphamide, Carboplatin, Etoposide, Ifosfamide, Irinotecan and Doxorubicin). I also had 28 days of radiation to my head and neck and surgery. As one could imagine, this left me both physically and emotionally spent. During my recovery, I came across Naam and I am very grateful. I am energetic, have recovered from almost all of my side effects and most importantly, I am happy and confident in my health.

Naam gave me the tools to maintain a sense of peace during scans and helped me work through any anxiety or fear experienced along the way. For so many cancer patients, losing a friend or hearing someone’s recurrence can be a spiral of negative emotions and panic. I can pinpoint the moment, that reaction transformed into hope to live and sadness for others. Never again have I gone back to connecting someone else’s disease with my own destiny. This is a gift every cancer patient deserves.”

Health & Hope are discovered through Naam after William’s battle with diabetes, anemia, & hypothyroidism

“Life before Naam was a challenge. I was fighting fires on three different auto-immune fronts all at the same time. Naam was the only exercise I did for the 2 years between doctor’s visits and I am happy to say that my once defective thyroid is now functioning normally. Since I have come to Naam, I feel lighter, brighter and more hopeful. When I had no other option, Naam was there for me and delivered. Thank you Naam!”

The benefits that have come with a consistent mantra practice are numerous. I have experienced an internal shift in consciousness that has freed me from toxic emotions and habits. Mantra has effectively replaced fear, insecurity and doubt with the peaceful stillness from which love, creativity, intuitive sight, and conscious clarity in thought and deed arise.

A couple of weeks ago, under the supervision of my doctor, I was able to let go of the last of my pharmaceutical medications. My physician was notably impressed by the positive impact of meditation. I never thought the day would come that I could function without my prescriptions. Chanting Ra-Ma-Da-Sa-Sa-Say-So-Hung and Wahe Guru-Wahe Jio, continue to enable me to overcome depressed moods and negative attitudes.

My name us Elly. About 2 years ago I got bowel cancer – so mixed with natural therapies I decided to use Naam to help me heal and it was pretty fast really, by changing my lifestyle with meditating more and using the Naam tools to help myself heal. I want to share those tools with people as well and help them help themselves. What actually drew me in the first place was actually using the breath the mudras together as a healing modality. I’ve always loved kinesiology which uses finger modes and this was an extension of that and an amazing way to contact the body that I hadn’t used before.”

For the last 30 years, I have explored almost every kind of learning, personal growth or healing/therapy modality along the way, so when I make this next statement, it is not made lightly at all. This work is transformational. It helped me in a myriad of emotional, physical and spiritual ways in many aspects of my personal and professional life. I am proactive versus reactive, stay calmer under pressure, have greater clarity of thinking and am better able to handle the unknown. My health has also improved; my sinus problems are almost eliminated; allergic reactions are less frequent.
